Top 10 Marketing iPhone Apps
March 10, 2010 by Ben Young
I was having a chat the other day with a client on how we can use our iPhones to help with our Marketing Campaigns. Thus we have put together in no particular order our Top 10 Marketing Apps.
#1 Analytics App
This app helps you access up to the hour information on what’s happening with your Campaigns via Google Analytics. Simple, sweet interface and constantly updating. This is the top of our list.
#2 Search Trends
This is a tidy little app for just monitoring what’s hot right now, always handy to keep an eye on the pulse.
#3 Facebook App
This allows us to quickly review, update and engage with Fans on clients Fan Pages. Just super easy when on the go to check in.
#4 SimpleMindx
A nice little app which builds quick MindMaps, great for demonstrating to a client an Agenda, Strategy or current Tactics. You can export to their desktop software or to a jpeg which makes things super easy.
#5 WordPress
Like Facebook, manage your wordpress blogs, comments on the go. Great for pushing out a blog post between meetings but also managing your comments.
#6 TweetDeck
Always a great demonstration to open TweetDeck, run some searches, then show your client the result of the searches.
#7 Notes
Always fantastic for jotting down (unsurprisingly) notes, email to a colleague, edit later.
#8 JotNot
Take photos of whiteboards, documents all those scribbles that come down in a meeting.
#9 LinkedIN
Make sure you connect!
#10 Coin Toss
For when the team has a split decision! (sure to break the ice).
There are over 100,000 apps now on the iPhone so be sure to let us know you’re favourites when it comes to Marketing.
