The Brewery – Brought to you by Young & Shand
September 26, 2011 by Duncan Shand
Young & Shand diversifies and launches its own Brewery… Digital Brewery, that is:
We’re moving into new offices this week and we’ve got some space available for rent that we’ve dubbed The Brewery – A funky, unpolished and edgy working space for the creatives of Auckland. The Brewery is a 300sqm creative haven, with all the essentials – and nothing more!
As a Digital Agency, we get creatives – the feel, the look and the love of ideas – it’s what we do too! We want to work with the best freelancers available. Our clients need talent, as do we. The Brewery is a space where the best freelancers can work together on their own projects and contribute with others as well.
Unlike other working spaces, we’re not ‘available to anyone’. We want freelancers – creative freelancers: web developers, designers, copywriters, video producers, illustrators, etc. Our idea is to get the best in the building, work with them on projects and help grow each others businesses. In other words, A web/dev ecosystem smack bang in the heart of Auckland.
The Brewery is a work in progress… we’re looking for ‘early adopters’, people who want to grow and shape our space with us. Discounts apply to the first three to join us.
The Brewery offer:
Fibre Internet (The fastest we could get our hands on!)
300Sqm office – Grungy and full of nooks and crannys to think, create and build.
Creative breakout spaces + Whiteboard walls/windows
2x meeting rooms – one big, one small (including projector)
Desk & chair included, obviously!
Kitchen (and all the facilities, including coffee machine)
CBD address and PO Box
Rental opportunity:
Permanent desks – $575+GST per month (all inclusive*)
- 24/7 access
Hot Desk - $375+GST per month
- Unlimited use (but don’t take the piss by staying every day, 9-5 – that’s a permanent desk, mate!)
And like any good landlord, we require one month bond + one month rent in advanced.
Note: We’re not in the co-working space business, we’re in the digital business. Our goal isn’t to get rich offering space, it’s to work with the best creative freelancers available. Period.
